The Assistant Mode has been completely transformed. It��s no longer the ��intermittent assist�� we used to have, but now works like the PAS mode on regular electric bikes with ��continuous assist��! This is exactly what everyone, including myself, wanted. Thank you so much!
2. The Assistant Mode is even better than the PAS mode on electric bikes!
This might just be my personal opinion, but I believe the Assistant Mode on the Pikaboost2 is even better than the PAS mode on regular e-bikes. On typical e-bikes, if you stop pedaling, the motor support cuts off after about a second, and you can��t stop pedaling. However, in the Pikaboost2��s assist mode, when you stop pedaling, the motor doesn��t cut off immediately. Instead, it gradually reduces speed, making the ride much more comfortable for my legs!
3. The Assistant Mode doesn��t lower the speed to level 1 even when the brake sensor is activated!
When you select the Assistant Mode, a menu appears to choose the assist level. If you set it to high through the app, you can use the highest level of assistance without needing to adjust the speed via the remote. I believe this was an idea proposed by Hans Maartenson.
The most important point is that when you pull the brake, the assist level doesn��t drop to 1 anymore! This means I no longer have to repeatedly adjust the remote. However, for the Cruise Mode, for safety reasons, it seems to behave similarly to the previous version, but it feels like the speed doesn��t drop as drastically, though this could just be my perception.
But anyway, the improved Assistant Mode has perfectly solved all the issues, and seeing that the Cruise Mode has maintained the original mechanism for safety, it shows that LIVALL is paying attention to both rider safety and user feedback. 4. The Assistant Mode remains just as safe as the previous one!
LIVALL has always shown that safety is a priority, especially after the experience with Pikaboost1. Even with the new mode, it��s clear that safety has been carefully considered.
When you ride with the new Assistant Mode, even when you select the high level, the motor doesn��t give full power from the start. It starts with a moderate pace and gradually increases motor assistance as your pedaling accelerates. The most amazing part is the flexible motor support, adapting to changes in speed.
I never imagined PAS could be implemented this perfectly and safely.
This is everything I hoped for in Pikaboost2, and it��s clear that not only my feedback but also many other users�� suggestions have been taken into account.
